About this site
Ken Paxton Files is a searchable record of what Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has done in office and as a state lawmaker: his legal cases, his use of the attorney general’s office, his votes and his campaign claims. It is built for Texans who have seen a headline, an ad or a claim and want to see the documents for themselves.

Responses
Each case file includes a response module. Where Ken Paxton or his office has publicly responded to a matter, we summarize or briefly quote that response and link to it. Where we could not find a public response, the module says so and records when we last checked. We will add any response provided to us.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Each case file has an “Updates and corrections” log showing what changed and when. To report an error, write to the address below with a link to the entry and the source that shows the correct information.
